[Guangdong news on April 23, Chinanews.com (by Suo Youwei)] On April 23, Zhongke Industrial Fostering (Guangzhou) Investment Co., Ltd., a market-oriented technology service platform of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, signed a contract with CANVAS, an innovation space brand of Mayland Group in Guangzhou, and unveiled the “Zhongke-CANVAS Technology Innovation Center” established between them.

According to Wang Yifan, General Manager of Zhongke Industrial Fostering (Guangzhou) Investment Co., Ltd., it is an active exploration for the transformation of science and technology to co-build the technology innovation service platform with private enterprises, which will drive the technology innovation to be oriented by industrial demand, thus better integrating the transformation of scientific & technological achievements of Chinese Academy of Sciences with the market. The Center will serve as a “bridgehead” in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for the transformation of science & technology projects and technological innovation of the CAS. In the future, it is mainly engaged in intellectual property rights operation, technology integration innovation, high-tech enterprise incubation, equity investment and park operation, aiming to build an excellent ecosystem serving technology innovation through organic integration. He also revealed that the company will set up a special fund to provide investment and financing services for technology companies.
